Stephen shared his First light experience of Apollo-M MAX camera:
uh…WOW!! This Apollo M-max camera from Player One Astronomy is incredible. I’ll post some videos and images as soon as I can figure out a way to stack them on my Mac.Using a 2013 iMac, with a non-SSD hard drive.
I was able to get a consistent 125 to 135 frames per second. (vs 7-9fps with the PGR 6MP grasshopper Express costing 4 times as much) The entire disc fit easily on the chip through my doublestacked Lunt LS 152 and the Astro physics StarFire 130. I am extremely impressed with this camera
